We have 5 years of course development behind us, delivered in the roastery in Malešice, and thanks to our support programme for our customers, more than a thousand baristas and even enthusiasts have passed through our hands.

The education system was developed by Jarda Slámečka, a barista with more than 10 years of experience from cafés and roasteries, a trainer and Czech coffee preparation champion CIGS 2023, who leads the school as lead trainer.

In 4 hours we will cover the theory of quality milk foam and the workflow of preparing milk drinks. In the practical part we will focus on the basic patterns of heart, tulip and rosetta. At the end, depending on individual approach, we will practice more complex patterns.

For everyone who wants to understand the flavours associated with coffee. During 4 hours you will calibrate your taste buds to recognise flavour intensity. In a blind exercise, tasting basic foods associated with coffee flavours, we will restart our taste memory and explain the connections with flavour.
We offer courses for both complete beginners and coffee enthusiasts who are already experienced and would like to improve their skills in preparing specialty coffee and deepen their knowledge. We offer these courses to both the general public and our wholesale customers.
We recommend the Basic Course for beginner baristas or home baristas who want to understand the flavor of coffee and become self-sufficient in setting up and managing coffee preparation in a café, office, or at home.
We recommend the advanced course for experienced baristas, operations managers, and advanced home baristas who already understand how coffee processing and origin affect its flavor and want to further develop their skills in recipe creation, sensory evaluation, and coffee operations management.

Absolutely! We welcome both complete beginners and coffee enthusiasts. The courses are designed to cover everything you need to know to understand specialty coffee, its origins, preparation, and recipe fine-tuning.
The capacity for both the basic and advanced espresso and latte art courses is 4 people. The capacity for the filtered coffee course is 6 people. And the capacity for the sensory course is 8 people.
The basic and advanced espresso courses, the filtered coffee preparation course, and the sensory course each last 4 hours, typically from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a 10-minute break. The latte art course lasts 3 hours, typically from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., also with a 10-minute break. The course times can be adjusted by arrangement, but not their duration.

Yes, you can give a course as a gift in the form of a gift certificate. On the website, you’ll find the “Gift Certificate” product; when you click on it, you can select the course as a product option. After purchase, you’ll receive the gift certificate via email as a PDF.
Completing our courses will not provide you with certification or accreditation from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The courses are based on information and experience gained over more than fifteen years in the Czech coffee scene, which our instructors pass on to you through hands-on training and a personalized approach.
