Description

Recommended preparation

Diima Chelchele #8 is a specialty natural coffee from the Gedeb district in Ethiopia’s renowned Yirgacheffe region. The coffee is processed at the Chelchele washing and dry processing station, which works with hundreds of local smallholder farmers cultivating coffee at elevations between 1,900 and 2,100 meters above sea level. The combination of high altitude, fertile soils, and favorable climate creates a coffee with exceptional clarity, sweetness, and complexity.

The cup is bright and juicy, featuring vibrant notes of pink grapefruit, pomegranate, plum, and yellow stone fruits. Delicate hints of herbal tea and cocoa add depth and balance, resulting in a layered and elegant profile with a long, satisfying finish. With a cupping score of 88 points, this coffee showcases the distinctive character that has made Ethiopian coffees famous worldwide.

The lot was sourced through Tadesse Desta Business Group, a quality-focused exporter committed to sustainable and responsible coffee production. The natural processing method enhances the coffee’s fruit-forward profile while preserving its clarity and structure. Diima Chelchele #8 is an excellent choice for coffee lovers seeking a vibrant, expressive Ethiopian coffee for both filter brewing and modern fruit-driven espresso.
