Kelloo Siko #2 is a specialty washed coffee from the Guji region of southern Ethiopia, sourced from the Siko Washing Station in Uraga. Grown at elevations of 2,100–2,250 meters above sea level, it delivers a remarkably clean and elegant cup profile with pronounced floral aromatics and a silky, weightless texture.
The cup reveals notes of baked orange, apricot candy, peach iced tea, and orange marmalade. Sweet layers of honey and delicate cocoa complement juicy stone fruit jam characteristics, creating a complex yet approachable profile. The result is a bright, balanced coffee with refined sweetness and a long, clean finish.
Processed using the washed method, the cherries are hand-picked and fermented for 24–72 hours before being washed and carefully sorted by density. After a six-hour soaking period, the coffee is dried on raised beds for approximately 13 days. Around 500 smallholder farmers contribute cherries to the station, benefiting from fertile red soils, abundant sunshine, and exceptional growing conditions that consistently produce high-quality coffees.
