Gitesi #893 comes from Gitesi Washing Station in Karongi District, where it is processed under the guidance of Aimé Gahizi. This lot is produced from carefully selected cherries delivered by hundreds of smallholder farmers and crafted using an anaerobic natural process, resulting in a bold and contemporary flavor profile.
In espresso, expect an intense fruit-forward character with notes of forest berries, strawberry jam, dark plum, and sour cherry. A bright, juicy acidity is balanced by sweetness and a full body, creating a rich and long-lasting finish. It’s a vibrant and expressive cup with excellent clarity.
