Magarrissa Refisa – Ethiopia

Magarrissa Refisa #2 Organic is a washed Ethiopian coffee from West Arsi, Nensebo, grown at high altitudes of 1900–2100 m n. m. near the Bale Mountain forest. The coffee comes from 389 smallholder farmers delivering cherries to the Refisa washing station, owned by SNAP Coffee Exporters. Heirloom varieties, fertile red soils and semi-forest vegetation contribute to its clean and vibrant character.

In the cup, this lot offers expressive, juicy acidity with an intensely floral and perfumed profile. You can expect notes of lemon and lime candies, stone fruits, honey and yellow-orange jams, complemented by a slightly hoppy characterand a black tea finish. The coffee scored 87.25 points, delivering excellent balance and clarity at great value.

Processed using a meticulous washed method—including careful hand selection, extended fermentation and slow drying—this coffee reflects SNAP COFFEE’s focus on quality, consistency and sustainability. Through Nordic Approach and Tropiq Ethiopia, the lot is fully traceable and supports long-term impact projects such as schools, infrastructure and future healthcare initiatives in the local farming communities.
