Frinsa Manis #2 - Indonesia

Frinsa Manis #2 (96 Hours) is a vibrant Indonesian coffee from Frinsa Estate, located in Weninggalih in West Java. “Manis” means sweet in Bahasa — a name that perfectly reflects the character of this lot. The estate is managed by Wildan Mustofa and Atieq Mustikaningtyas, who are known for their meticulous approach and full control over production, from harvest through processing and export. 

This lot is processed as a Extended 96-hour Fermentation Natural. After harvesting, the cherries are washed and floaters are removed before undergoing four days of underwater fermentation without additives. They are then dried whole on tarpaulins in the drying yard. The extended fermentation enhances sweetness, aromatic intensity, and structure. A blend of Ateng Super, P88, Borbor, Andungsar, Sigarar Utang, and Lini S-795 varieties contributes to a layered and expressive cup profile.

In the cup, expect a tropical, aromatic, and juicy experience. Notes of dried mango and guava are complemented by sweet pink fruit, grilled pink grapefruit, and a sparkling cider-like finish. This coffee shines on filter, where its clarity and fruit-forward complexity stand out, but it will also appeal to those who enjoy bold and character-driven profiles.
