Bildimoo Benti Nenka #2 is a distinctive Ethiopian natural coffee sourced from the village of Benti Nenka in the Hambela Wamena sub-region of Guji, Oromia. Produced by around 500 smallholder farmers, each with 1.5 to 2-hectare plots, this coffee is processed at the Benti Nenka Coffee Processing Station, which sits at 2,107 meters above sea level. The station, founded in 2017, was established due to the area’s exceptional potential for high-quality coffee production and its accessibility to local farming communities. Farmers here work together under traditional communal systems called DEBO and DADO, reflecting the region’s strong cultural ties and cooperative spirit.
This lot falls under the “Bildimoo” flavour profile, a category created by Nordic Approach to help classify Ethiopian coffees by taste and colour. “Bildimoo” — a term meaning clay soil and a shade of red in the Oromiffa language — represents coffees with lactic characteristics and vibrant flavour notes. In this case, offers a beautifully floral and sweet profile, with a clean and dense cup structure. Expect lactic, creamy florals complemented by tropical notes of melon, mango, red fruit, and a touch of soft spice.
With a cupping score of 88, Bildimoo Benti Nenka #2 is a high-quality heirloom variety from the 2025 crop year.
