This espresso is beautifully honey-sweet with tones of gingerbread, vanilla, and cocoa.

Carlos Montero's Guadalupe or "Papa" lot is a 1.5-hectare coffee plantation located in the Guadalupe subregion of Los Santos, Costa Rica. The farm sits at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level and is planted exclusively with Catuai coffee trees. The coffee cherries are harvested by hand when they are extremely ripe and well selected, then processed using the Honey method.

This lot holds a special place in Carlos's heart as it was the very first farm that his father, Don Eli and his mother were able to purchase and call their own. The land was later passed down to Calos's sisters before he was able to purchase it from them and use it for his own coffee production. The "Papa" lot is considered the heart of Carlos's coffee plantations and features a humble home where seasonal immigrant workers stay with their families while they are in Costa Rica.
